Spa Escape In Bournemouth… Ocean Beach Hotel And Spa Review

If you know me a bit you probably have heard how I love Spas, Sea Views and food so I’m beyond excited when I get invited to review amazing spas, hotels and restaurants. We don’t have to go far as Bournemouth and Dorset has got so many amazing places and I’m planning to visit lots of them so keep your eyes peeled.

On the 4th of November 2018 we went with my friend, a locally and nationally known nutritionist and amazing personality Barbara Cox to check out the Ocean Beach Hotel and Spa which is part of the Oceana Beach Hotels.

When we spoke about our collaboration with Eugenia, I specifically asked about a sea view room as there isn’t anything better than waking up to the sea view right? Just have a look, so magical…

We’ve been welcomed by lovely receptionist and Eugenia the Digital Associate.

After checking in we quickly got changed and went to relax in the spa at the Suncliff hotel, which is just next door and as is a sister hotel. All of the guests from the Ocean Beach Hotel can use the renovated pool, sauna and the spa area. Just have a look at it isn’t it beautiful?

Next day we started with a lovely breakfast which consisted of the traditional and the continental breakfast, of course I went for the full English breakfast option and it was delicious.

After the breakfast we headed to the Oceana Day Spa for our treatments. I chose the full body hot stone massage and it was amazing. I was so relaxed and my body felt rejuvenated. You can see all of the amazing treatments here.

Barbara decided to go for the full body scrub and she told me that it was amazing too, she also treated herself to a pedicure, because why not treating yourself?

After the lovely treatments as it was my Birthday month Barbara treated me to a lovely lunch and Prosecco this time at the Cumberland Hotel at the Ventana Café. I haven’t been there before, but the food was gorgeous so definitely going back there soon and the views, what more could I ask for?

What I loved about our stay is that we didn’t really have go far to feel like we were on holiday, to unwind, relax. Bournemouth has got so many amazing hotels and Oceana Beach Hotel is definitely worth visiting if you are planning to come to Bournemouth for a little holiday.

If that wasn’t enough excitement for the day, we were booked for an amazing three course dinner at the Italian Café.

I wouldn’t be myself if I would not order a Hawaiian pizza. There are people who don’t agree with putting a pineapple on the pizza, but I’m definitely not one of those people.

Barbara went for more sophisticated option a seafood linguini. The waiter suggested a beautiful red wine from Tuscany would go very well without food choices, he was right it was delicious.

I absolutely loved our little stay at the Ocean Beach Hotel and I would definitely recommend it if you are looking to book a nice sea view hotel as a couple for the Valentines day or a family getaway or if you are local and just need a little escape and time to relax. The beach is literally a few meters from the hotel so you can have a morning jog if you wish.

Hope you enjoyed my first blog review after a long time. I promise that more reviews are coming. I’ve been invited to review some amazing places so keep your eyes peeled.

Lots of Love and hugs

Why I haven’t Been Blogging Since 2017?

“Where there is a will, there is a way. If there is a chance in a million that you can do something, anything, to keep what you want from ending, do it. Pry the door open or, if need be, wedge your foot in that door and keep it open.” —Pauline Kael

So it’s been a while since I’ve written a blog post. I even started to call myself an “influencer “ instead of a “ blogger” just to feel a little bit less guilty about it. Everyone chooses their own path and social media platform that they prefer and I fell in love with Instagram. Building my Instagram community was my priority in 2017 and 2018. However now is the time to give more value to my followers, readers and brands that I work with that’s why I decided to come back and share with you some of the exciting places, hotels, spas, restaurants I’m visiting as well as the wellness brands on my blog as well as on my Instagram.

When I started my blog it was my way to deal with my anxiety, limiting beliefs and the past experiences. I thought that I’ll be sharing my journey and I’ll help myself as much as I’ll be able to help to inspire and motivate you to believe in yourself, to follow your dreams and to understand that your past doesn’t have to be the same as your future. So I’ve put million of ideas, titles that I was going to write about and then I ” blocked myself” if you know what I mean. Do you have that time when you know ” you suppose to do something” you know that you suppose to do it, you love to do it, but there is that invisible line that keeps you stuck, then you procrastinate and then you procrastinate more , then you feel like you aren’t any good at it anymore and you give up for some time on yourself and you dream… well at least at a part of your dream…Well that was how I sort of felt about my blog, my English isn’t obviously my first language so that didn’t help. I just told myself that wasn’t good enough to blog and I started to believe in that b…t Well I did most of the stuff on Instagram because I found it more instant, real and easier…

As Tony Robbins says “our brain isn’t design to make us happy , but to ” keep us safe ” so anything that you do that is out of your comfort zone doesn’t feel particularly great, well if feel scary to be exact.

So the past two years were a big learning curve for me I quit the full time job/client to pursue the blogging/influencer dream and trust me it isn’t all roses… there are times when I just want to quit it all delete my Facebook, Instagram and move to sunny Spain to sell Pina Coladas at the beach, but I think I’m not ready to quit on my dream just yet 🙂 Moving to Spain, hmm that might happen sooner than later, well let’s see how it goes, but I definitely prefer the sunny climate, so having summer all year around is my goal.

Anyway enough of rambling, doubting myself, time to take some action, new blog post coming soon, thanks for sticking with me I appreciate that.

And Remember, Never Stop Dreaming!

What is Minimalism And Why I Got Rid Of 80% Of My Stuff?

A few years back I really thought that things make me happy. I was trying to buy happiness. I thought that buying a convertible car, Pandora bracelet or a designer handbag will make me so much happier, stupid right? It might sound crazy, but coming from a place where you couldn’t even dream about those things made me think that people who have them might be so much happier, was I wrong? Yes I was…

I was thinking that those things will make me the happiest person ever, don’t get me wrong it did give me that feeling of joy, but it lasted a few days…well maybe a few weeks and then the car just became my new “normal”. Isn’t it weird that we dream of something all our lives and then when we get that thing, it gives us a few days of happiness and that is it? I started overthinking, overeating, thinking that it will make me happy, it did until I looked in the mirror 10 years later, depressed, frustrated. I felt trapped, anxious and unhappy. I started looking for the answer…

On my journey to beat depression and search for my own peace and happiness I came across many things and strategies that potentially could make me less anxious, at peace and simply happy, but one that really worked for me and I got really into lately it’s minimalism.

A few years ago my life was completely opposite to a minimalistic life. I had too many people in my life, too much stuff, too many hobbies, just too much of everything. I was doing lots of things, but felt that nothing was done really well as I was concentrating on too many unnecessary things. I needed a life with fewer distractions, but more time, meaningful relationships and was looking for an answer on how to make my life just more simplistic.

I came across a ted talk about minimalism with Joshua Fields Millburn and Ryan Nicodemu the founders of and I absolutely fell in love in the idea of minimalism. You can watch it here.

I was looking for theories of minimalism that would the best describe it for you and here was my favourite one:

“Minimalism is a tool to rid yourself of life’s excess in favour of focusing on what’s important—so you can find happiness, fulfilment, and freedom”

But what it actually mean in reality? Well you can look at it in different ways… for me minimalism was getting rid of excess shoes, clothes and things that I really didn’t like need or want and having just a few things that actually make me happy and I feel great in.

If you are thinking of becoming a minimalist I came across another amazing blogger Jenny Mustard and her video “How to become a minimalist”, you should watch it it’s great!

Here are the first steps that you need to do if you are thinking of becoming minimalist:

  1. Think of your why? Why do you think that minimalism might be something to consider? Do you feel lost? Have you got too much stuff that you actually don’t need? Do you need more space, clarity in your life? Think of your why!
  2. Clear your space. Divide it into a few parts and clear your space from unwanted gifts, things that are new, but you never warned them, single socks and unnecessary cosmetics in your bathroom. If you are not sure what to do with some of the items just get 3 boxes: donate, throw away and keep, put those items in the right box, hide them and if in a month time you still didn’t take them out, that means that you actually don’t need them…
  1. Organise your time. Your time is valuable, so spend it with people that lift you up, help you grow, people who love you and support you. Write down the things that make you feel happy, and schedule them in your calendar, every single week.
  1. Phone detox. Get rid of the apps that you don’t use, numbers that you don’t need, download your pictures on a drive, you will feel calmer, more organised and happier.
  1. Social media detox! Right! Everyone who knows me know that I am all over social media, It’s my passion, but sometimes I feel that I need a detox, yep even me…Find a day in a week or a month that you will just unplug, you know like we use to do in the olden days ;)heh connect to the nature instead of looking at your phone all day (message to myself).

I hope that you enjoyed my blog. I haven’t written one for a while as I was very busy at work and was working on improving my Instagram as I love sharing my story with you on my Instagram. Please let me know if you enjoy my blogs, Instagram and what would you like me to write about next? Have a lovely Monday guys, see you on my Instagram !

10 Awesome New Year’s Resolutions For A Happy 2017

Yes, it’s that time of the year again, 31 December 2016! It’s been an amazing year for me! I’ve moved a few times, changed position at work, met many incredible people. I’ve travelled to Malta, Ibiza and Poland. I’ve started my blog that I am very proud of, I’ve grown as a person. I made lots of mistakes and I’ve learned from some of them, the other ones I am still making over and over again hehe that’s life! I would like to share with you my New Year’s resolutions because I believe that you would benefit from them as much as I would (well at least some of them heh) Let’s do this!

1. Talk less Listen more

We learn more by listening and asking the right questions not by talking. I like to talk a lot so this will be a challenging one for me. Well let’s try, shall we?

2. Be less judgmental towards yourself and others

I often find myself judging myself and others in my head. I want to stop that and be happy and content with who I am inside and outside and understand that other people’s perceptions are different than mine.

3. Stop comparing yourself

Looking at Instagram or social media you can easily fall into the trap of comparing yourself with other people. You have to realise that the real life happens behind the screen, so stop comparing yourself to Instagram posts it’s like comparing real life to a movie, edited perfect, life is beautiful as it is with all challenges and failures. Create your own definition of “happy” and leave it!

4. Let go of the past

Those who live in the past are depressed those who live in the future are anxious, happiness is found in a present moment. Let go of the past experiences that hold you back. I know it’s not easy, but you’ll never be happy if you’ll be living in the past. You can’t change your past, close the door behind, leave 2016 challenges in there, learn from them and move on to 2017 with a fresh mindset.

5. Be more present

When you are with someone, be with them, not on your phone , looking around. I’m saying it to myself as much as I’m saying it to you. Very often I find myself having a meal with a friend and instead of being present and engage in the conversation I am already thinking about the next picture of the food that I will put on Instagram, how sad is that ? Yeah I know! From the New Year I
will bring more “me” to the present moment, will you?

6. Improve your health by creating a new healthy habit

Your brain can’t just unlearn things leaving an empty space in your subconscious mind. If you stop smoking for example you have to replace that unhealthy habit with another, healthy one, like for example having some healthy snack instead of a cigaret.

We all have different health challenges. Some of us would like to lose weight, the others start exercising, drink more water, be more fit. I need lose 10kg by the end of 2017, yes I said it! ouch

Yep, I think this is one of the most popular New Year’s resolutions. I was thinking if I should write it down, but I did it to keep myself accountable so I can look back at this blog at the end of the year and see if I achieved my goals. Keep your fingers crossed!

7. Make your morning routine non-negotiable

Start with yourself and “put your oxygen mask on first” Exercise, meditate and be grateful every morning it’ll help you to get through a day with healthy spirit, body and mind.

8. Make your own and others people life easier

Very often I see other people making their life more difficult than necessary. If you know that you can’t sew to save your life, don’t spend 10 hours of your day being frustrated to learn how to do it, pay someone a few pounds and get it done! I see more often so many people having the mentality of doing everything themselves, but why? You never going to know how to do everything, you should rather pay someone to do the job that you can’t or hate doing and help others by doing what you are good at!

9. De-clutter your space

Getting rid of the stuff gives me that “cathartic “feeling. I’m sure that you’ve heard phrases such as “clear your space and clear your mind”! When you de-clutter your space you’ll have such a clear mind and open space for the new things you actually do love.

10. Forgive yourself and others

Forgive yourself and let go of the things that are in the past and you can’t change. Learn from your mistakes, but don’t drug them
to the 2017!

I hope that you enjoyed reading my blog and that you’ve learned something from it! If you did, please share it with your friends and family so the can have a happy 2017! I wish you all the happiness in the world!

10 Secrets To Happiness That Nobody Told You

  1. Love yourself first

Being “selfish” is the best thing you can do for other people and yourself. I use to give my time, attention to everyone until I have become empty inside and someone told me that “you can’t pour from an empty glass” if you are going to give yourself everything you need and be happy inside, you will overflow with happiness and then you can help other people, and not the other way around. If you are empty inside you’re not good for yourself or anyone around you.

  1. Take responsibility for your life

Don’t wait for “Mr Right” or a giant event or a miracle to change your life. You and only you are responsible for the life that you live. Don’t wait for the perfect moment, take the moment and make it perfect! Guess what if you don’t change nothing will!

  1. Create your own theory of success

People will tell you that money make you happy and that things make you happy. They will tell you that you have to do this, that and the other to be successful or happy. But deep inside only you know what you want and what makes you happy. Don’t listen to that noise and people who try to tell you that what makes them happy, have to make you happy! Try new things, make lots of mistakes and see for yourself what really brings that spark in your heart. Be honest to yourself, be you and create your own definition of success!

  1. Say no much more often than you say yes

When you are 10,15,20 years old you think that your time is just limitless and you say yes to sooo many things. Of course you should try new things to see what you like and what you don’t, but sometimes we spent too much time on doing the things that we don’t actually like. Stop it. Saying no to things more often will give you more time to do the things that you actually love to do. Say no more often!

  1. Create relationships

Not the fake ones, the real ones. When you see that someone really cares and is on the same wavelength, have similar values in life, make sure you take time to create a friendship. It’s nothing better than having an amazing friend with you at the hard times and being there for someone when they’re feeling down. Never forget someone who loved you and believed in you, even when you didn’t believe in yourself!

I used to hang to my past too match but you can't change the past you can change the future ✅Letting go of your past is the first step to live a happier life #mondaymotivation #Monday motivation #quoteoftheday #boss #Happiness #Girlboss #Success #Happy #coach #BusinessWoman #polish #quote #quoteoftheday#quostagram #Happiness #Success #WeightLoss #Morning #MondayMotivation #WednesdayMotivation #e

  1. Give yourself permission to be sad

I never thought that I will say this! I always wanted to be that happy person, but sometimes you have to understand that they’re going to be times in your life when it just sucks, that’s fine, everyone got those days, just learn not to stay there for a long time! When you feeling down, don’t be alone. Go and see your friends talk to them about your problems. I know that you might think that you are not worth your friends time, that nobody wants to listen to your problems, but believe me people who really care will be happy that you shared your problems with them.

7. Trust that little voice in your head

Yes we all know that little voice in our head that tells us what we really want, but very often we try to kill that voice because we are scared of changes and sometimes scared of success. Start listening to that voice more often and follow your dreams. Make little changes everyday, in no time you will see how your life unfolds. You will be surprised!

  1. Stop comparing yourself to other people

That was a big one for me and to be honest I’m still learning to stop comparing myself to other people! There is always someone that is slimmer, more clever, more successful and luckier than you are. You have to understand that everyone has got a different journey, went through different experiences in life. We cannot compare ourselves to others it’s like comparing an apple to a window. It’s just wrong.

  1. Don’t be afraid to ask for help

I use to be afraid to ask for help because I was thinking that I was failing by asking for help. Now I think that it’s so stupid to think that! If you need help just ask. You’ve got nothing to lose and everything to gain. Nobody is good at everything. Learn to ask for help it’s a great skill to have. Develop growth mindset instead of the fixed mindset. Talk less, listen more.

  1. Never give up on your dreams

Your dreams, your goals will change from the time you 15 to 20 to 25 and 30 and 50 but you should never give up on them! It doesn’t mean that you will get exactly what you wanted but on the way to your goal or your dream you will meet people, you will grow, experience new things and realise that everything happens for a reason. I really believe it. Never give up on your dreams!

Thank you for reading this blog I hope that you enjoyed it and learned something. Please comment below if you did! It really means a lot to me and give me even more motivation to write more for you! Please share it with your friends or someone that you think would benefit from reading this blog.

10 Simple Steps To A Happy Skin

image1Over the past 10 years I’ve tried many creams, diets, products and magic pills to have a great skin. Finally, I can honestly say that my skin is the happiest that has ever been. That’s why I would like to share with you my 10 simple steps to a happy skin. I hope that it will help you if you still haven’t figured it out for yourself yet!

1. Healthy diet

You are what you eat, so don’t be cheap, easy or fake! I love that quote. I use to treat my body as a rubbish bin I have to admit! I came to the UK in 2006 being size 10. In Poland food is less processed so I sort of ate similar things in here but with time I got bigger, heavier and become really conscious of my body. From size 10 I went to size 12, 14 ten 16 and then I woke up 10 years later hating my body, depressed and anxious. Now I am on my weightloss journey back to size 12, exercising every day and eating healthy!

Diet is not only important for your brain development, confidence, but also a healthy skin. Every time I would eat an unhealthy take away I would feel sluggish, sleepy and the next day I would get some weird spots. Don’t do it! Eating healthy is fun and will help you to have an amazing happy, clear skin. I think more and more people are waking up to the fact that all of the depression, cancers, illnesses come from the processed food that we eat. Wake up now before it’s too late. I did it so you can do it too! Please learn from my mistakes and don’t treat your body as a rubbish bin!

2. Water

How many times did you hear that the water is the “key”? Guess what, that’s right it is! But if you are still not drinking 2l-3l of water daily, you need to hear it again! Drink more water!

That’s something I am much better at now, but believe me it wasn’t always a case! I use to drink tons of fizzy drinks, coke, lemonades etc. and thought that water is just unnecessary. Was I wrong? YESSS

We are made 70% of water if you don’t replace it and drink enough of it your body just won’t be able to function properly and clean all the toxins that you eat, breath and all that bad stuff. Drink more water!

3. Ditch the alcohol

I use to love my whiskey and coke and believe me I still do. However, I realised that every time I drank alcohol my skin felt dehydrated the next day and again I get some weird spots that haven’t been there before I drunk it. Let’s face it when we drink alcohol we literally poor an acid inside our body so it can’t be healthy for our skin right?

I decided not to buy alcohol with my weekly shopping as I use to! I try not to have alcohol during the week. I will enjoy a nice glass of wine with a diner at the weekend or my favourite Jameson and coke now and then, but it will be a rare thing rather than a few times a week like it use to be. Make that conscious to decrease an decision and your skin will thank you for it!

4. Eliminate gluten

There is a lot of hype about gluten at the moment. Is it bad? Is it good? I’m no a doctor so I just speak about my own experience.

When I eat gluten, and (I am not a coeliac, but I believe that everyone of us can benefit from decreasing amount of flower, wheat, bread that we eat) my skin becomes much drier, especially on my hands and around my nose. I am not 100% gluten-free, but I decided not to buy any flour, bread. biscuits to void the temptation.Yes I will have a pizza now and then, but It’s not an everyday thing like it use to be. I feel much better and my skin is healthy, happy and spotless.

5. Know your skin type

Yes, that’s obvious right? Nope! I think that I didn’t know my skin type until I way 25, do you know your skin type? If you don’t you can get your free face mapping analysis done at any beauty salon that holds dermalogica products. It’s so much easier to take care of your skin if you know what you skin is lacking.

My skin was always dry so I spent a lot of time trying to find the right product for my face. As I am 30 this year, yes I’m getting old heh I want my cream to be moisturising and anti-aging at the same time. My favourite product at the moment is RENU 28 from company called ASEA. This gel really helped me to get rid of my wrinkles and my skin has never been happier and spot free!

6. Deep clean your skin daily

I use to have a dry skin and from time to time I would get some spots, but now my skin is just happy, clear from inside out. Most of the beauty products that you use to clear your skin only touch the outer layer of your skin. I was researching youtube and tada! I found Clarisonic brush ! OMG this thing has cleared my skin massively!

What Clarisonic does is clearing all of the pores deep inside your skin, getting rid of all of the make up and the bad stuff that accumulated in your pores. Clarisonic is an investment. I paid for my brush £180, but I believe that you can get it now for less than £100 and it is well worth it! Check out some of the YouTube reviews, that’s what I always do before spending my money on anything! If you need to purchase something, there are hundreds of people who already have what you need to buy, so don’t risk your money, research it, YouTube it , read blogs that you trust! It will save you a lot of time and money!

8. Exfoliate your skin weekly

I use to use some harsh exfoliates until I’ve seen Lisa Eldridge using some Alpha Hydroxy Acid ( AHA ) to exfoliate her skin. Now I use Paula’s choice 10% treatment and I absolutely love this product. It makes my skin sooo smooth and glowing that everyone comments on it. You can check out the video about it here.

9. Use SPF

That’s one more thing that I haven’t been using until I was 25. Especially when you use AHA’s you have to use SPF to protect your skin. Just do it. Yep, just do it!

10. Treat yourself to a visit at a beauty salon

It’s very important to take care of your skin on a daily basis. However, by going to a specialist you not only get someone else to treat you, but you can ask lots of questions to improve your daily routine to get a healthy, happy skin.

I try to do my “spa days” at home all the time, but sometimes it’s nice to let the other people to take care of you. If I visit a beauty salon I make sure that the treatment that I get is something that I can’t do myself at home.

Last month I visited a great beauty salon and a specialist body waxing salon Ducky Fuzz in Winton, Bournemouth for a microdermabrasion treatment. Microdermabrasion treatment removes thicker uneven layer of skin and leaves your skin feeling smooth and looking healthy and happy. Big thank you to Amanda the owner of Ducky Fuzz the salon who performed my treatment with a nice face massage. I felt sooo relaxed and my skin was just smooth, clear and simply happy…

That’s it that’s my 10 steps to a happy skin. I hope that you enjoyed and learned something for yourself! If you know someone that is struggling with their skin, please share that blog with them! If you have any tips for me pleas comment below!

Be Yourself Everyone Else Is Already Taken

I was sitting at the airfield seeing planes taking off, wanted to write this blog and as usual me battery went flat. I took a pen and paper and started writing… I wanted this blog to be a happy, positive place where you can pop in anytime to lift your sprit up, a place where I can share my experiences, tips to create more happiness from inside out and outside in as well as talking about some of my challenges that I personally overcome such as depression, anxiety to name only a few…To help, inspire and motivate you to fight to be the best version of yourself!

In my 29.5 years of existence I met many people from different walks of life, from millionaires who were trying to buy their happiness with money and ending up with lots of stuff and lonely and unhappy to disabled people with cancer, without legs, hands, but surprisingly very happy and content. I was always comparing these people and thinking how come those people who are healthy, rich, successful can be unhappy and on the other hand those people who have lots of health issues and challenges can be grateful and appreciate the things that they have and simply be happy?

In my teens and my twenties, I was suffering a lot with anxiety and depression. I always felt that I was different, think differently and was trying to “fit into what society, television and my culture said it was “normal”. If anyone asked me who I wanted to be when I grow up I always just wanted to be happy, but for a long time I didn’t know what happiness meant to me. I was looking for happiness in all of the wrong places: unhealthy food, relationships with the wrong guys, shopping, until I realised that happiness have to come from inside of me not the outside. From this day I started to look after myself, my health and physical and mental wellbeing.

Our true self is who we really are when we forget all of the “norms”, labels and stories about ourselves that overtime we believed in. Here are 3 steps that helped me and can help you to be yourself!

  1. Follow that voice in your head! Yes! everyone of us has it, but only a few people actually follow it! No it’s not easy to change. Take 1 step at the time and do something every single day that will bring you closer to who you really are and what you desire.
  1. Be clear of what you don’t want! I use to spend so much time talking to people that I didn’t like and doing things that didn’t bring any happiness to my life. Stop spending your precious time on doing things that don’t make you happy. Life is too short! Let go of people and things in your life that don’t bring any joy in your life.
  1. Get in touch with your inner child! When you were a child, before the television, culture and your friends told you what you could and couldn’t do you have been yourself, you knew what you wanted and you just did it! Try to find your inner child and dig in to those things that really made you happy!

That’s it for today I hope that you enjoyed my blog. If you think that someone you know would benefit from reading it, please share it with them! Are you looking to create more happiness in your life? Check out my other blog 5 Killer Steps To Create More Happiness Today

 1. You don’t have to be great to start but you have to start to be great -Zig Ziglar. This is so true. Nobody is great at doing something from the start. We all need to take little steps, take action towards our dream life. Yes you will make mistakes, but mistakes are only a proof that you are trying. People who don’t take risks never create anything great, because they don’t make mistakes and learn from them. Don’t be afraid to try something and fail, you are still ahead of all those who never even tried.

2. You will never be 100% ready. Let’s face it there isn’t a time when you will wake up in the morning and think everything is perfect and this is the time to do it! Let’s take me as an example. I was procrastinating with writing this blog for soooo long as I was never ready, never good enough. My excuses were always that my English is not good enough, that people will laugh at my spelling mistakes, this that and the other, but screw it! Does it really matter? Yes I am foreign and my English is not perfect and never will be… But 10 years ago I couldn’t even write a sentence in English language. Now I finished College and University and only people who were really close to me know how hard it was for me! The main thing is that I’ve got a message and I need to share it. It doesn’t matter if you speak English, Polish or broken Chinese, the message is the same “ Follow your passion and don’t let your insecurities stop you”!

3. Perfectionism. This is a common one! Don’t let the excuse “ I’m perfectionist” to stop you. For many years I was thinking about starting this blog. The voice in my head was telling me “What if people will laugh at me? You are not a blogger! You can’t write! You are not “perfect”! but nobody is born a blogger, pianist or a singer, you become it by the habits that you cultivate daily and by not giving up on yourself. Don’t let that voice in your head stop you from pursuing your passion.

4. People don’t know what you know. Did you realize that that all of the self talks in your head right? and that only you hear that voice? People need to hear your message. Whether it is signing or painting that you love, you have that talent for a reason! You have to share it with the world to make this world a better place! We are all connected. Everyone of us. What we do or don’t do affect other people around us. Don’t let your fears stop you from sharing that special gift that only you have! You’ve got everything that you need to take some action. Little steps at the time!

5. Clarity comes from engagement not from thought” says Marie Forleo, my favorite life and a business coach. You can think for 10 years if you should do something or not, but the moment you start doing something that you are born to do you will start feeling so amazing that you will think “ Why didn’t I do it 10 years ago”?! on the other hand you might start to do something that you always wanted to do and realize that it doesn’t make you happy. Just start doing many things that you think you might like and with time you will realize what you were born to do and what’s your purpose in life!

5 Killer Steps To Create More Happiness Today

I consider myself to be a happy person, but there was time in my life when it wasn’t that way! Not long ago I felt stuck, confused, depressed and to be honest like a big loser! Why am I sharing this with you? Because maybe you are having a bad day, week, month or just having some challenges in your life and I think that by sharing my story I can help you to overcome your limiting beliefs about yourself that keep you stuck and unhappy. I believe that every one of us deserves happiness!

So here is my 5 Killer Steps To Create More Happiness Today!

  1. Exercise I can’t stress enough how exercise changed my life! When you are feeling down, go and exercise! It works like magic! When I was struggling with anxiety and was feeling down, exercise helped me a lot. When you exercise your brain produces the happiness hormone-serotonin, which makes you happy, it’s really that easy that’s why you should exercise everyday, first thing in the morning! Yep before you start working! In that way you are going to have an amazing productive day!
  2. Healthy diet. You are what you eat, so make sure that you eat a healthy balanced diet! When I was trying to improve my level of happiness the food always helped. I’ve tried many diets, but the best results I got when I started my gluten-free diet. No, I am not a coeliac, but I definitely feel better when I don’t eat bread, flour, biscuits etc. Some people say that the gluten free diet is just a new trend, but I know how I feel…and I definitely got rid of the brain fog, could concentrate more, and become much more happier and more productive when I didn’t eat gluten (protein found in wheat, barley).
  3. Keep Gratitude journal. According to Harvard Health Publications giving thanks can make you happier. In positive psychology gratitude is associated with more happiness. By writing down 5 things that you are grateful for every single day you can become happier and start to notice more positive things in your life and attract more positive circumstances. Try it. It really works!

  1. Stop watching the news. This was a big one for me! Television is designed to make you depressed, worried and then sell you stuff to make you happy. I think that the news are supposed to be called “Bad news”…Do you ever hear any positive news? Not a lot! Does that mean that there isn’t anything-positive happening in the world? Not really! I have decided not to watch news and I feel so much happier! I know that some people say that you suppose to know what is happening in the world, but if you can’t change anything what’s the point of watching all of this negativity? Choose happiness and watch something that will lift your spirit up instead!
  2. Eliminate toxic relationships. They say that you are an average of six people that you surround yourself with! Make sure that they are friends who uplift you and encourage you to be the best version of yourself. Write down the people that you spend the most time with, your friends and family and ask yourself: are they uplifting, positive, loving people? Do they make you happier? If not try to distance yourself from them. Of course everyone of us have those bad days sometimes and I am not asking you to get rid or your friends who are just having a bad day, that would be cruel! Just ask yourself if the people that you are surrounding yourself with are making your life easier, happier, encourage you to go for your dreams?!

I hope that you enjoyed my tips to create more happiness in your life! Now if you have a friend that you think would need a              bit of an encouragement, or is having a bad day, share with them this blog! Remember, sharing is caring!
